Golden Soft Gel Matte 236ml

Golden Soft Gels are thinner than Heavy Body Colours. They can be mixed with colour to produce a brilliant glaze. Soft gels can be used as a base for wet blending and also as an adhesive for collage. Having a looser viscosity, Soft Gels are moderately pourable and hold only slight peaks. The Matte Soft Gel gives the colour a matt finish.
Soft Gel Matte is ideal for various techniques where transparency is desired. They are also useful as a non-removable isolation coat, applied over the painting before the varnish layer (must be thinned with water - 2 parts Soft Gel Gloss to 1 parts water).
Gel Mediums offer many ways to build texture. They are used to create glazes, extend paint and change finishes. Gels are essentially colorless paint, as they utilize the same 100% acrylic polymers as acrylic paint. Gels are also excellent adhesives for collage and mixed media, they dry with excellent flexibility with chemical, water and UV resistance.
