Winsor & Newton Artists Satin Varnish

A superior quality UV resistant artists satin varnish for oils which is quick drying, non-yellowing and does not bloom or crack. Do not use until a painting is completely dry. With Oil Paint this is between 6-12 months. The top surface may be touch dry but lower layers may still be in the drying process and, whilst in this state, any varnish applied may soon crack.

Please note that this varnish settles easily and a thick sediment will collect at the bottom of the bottle. As a result, it will require considerable shaking or stirring before use.

Removable with Artists White Spirit or Distilled Turpentine. Do not use as a medium.
