Paper Stumps & Tortillons Set of 5

Stumps are cylinders of compressed paper that come to a point at each end whilst a Tortillon is made from tightly rolled paper that points at just one end. Both can be used to blend drawing media such as pastel, charcoal and graphite without contaminating the media or surface with natural oils that can be transferred when using a finger to blend. Although designed to be disposable, the stumps can be cleaned a few times by rubbing on a sheet of sandpaper. Once the ends are too dirty, however, it is best to not use them as this will transfer to your artwork. Set includes 3 paper stumps (small,medium & large) and 2 tortillions (small & medium).
