Coronavirus Update from Curtisward
Here at Curtisward, we have been closely following the government guidelines regarding the Coronavirus to ensure the safety of ourselves and our customers.
As a husband and wife team, we are following the government guidelines for social distancing with others whilst continuing to get your orders out to you via our Internet Only company. There is no immediate change to the two of us being able to continue to despatch goods as normal.
We are confident that our stock inventories shown on the web site are as current and accurate as possible so you can order knowing that the item is here and ready to be despatched.
However, many manufacturers have experienced issues with staffing and operating within social distancing guidelines. In addition to this, a great many top Art brands are made overseas and delays at the ports are affecting the supply chain. Stocks coming through to us may, therefore, be delayed causing longer periods of some items being out of stock. Please refer to the stock quantity shown on each item when looking to purchase.
With non-essential High Street shops having to remain closed in some areas, the pressure on courier services has greatly increased and many of you will have seen in the media that Royal Mail is particularly affected.
Royal Mail have advised that they are prioritising First Class post (our standard service) but delays are still occurring. Delays will depend on the route around the country and which depots are affected so how long a delay may be and which consignments will be slowed down is unpredictable.
We would, therefore, advise all customers to allow more time for delivery of your goods.
If circumstances change, we will, of course, post an update on this page and we can be contacted at email@example.com.
Stay safe and keep creative. Best wishes,
Kim Curtis and Peter Ward
