Sheaffer

The Sheaffer Pen company was founded in 1912 by Walter A. Sheaffer in Iowa, America when he had the bright idea of a pen-filling mechanism that filled a fountain pen instantly with just the lifting of a lever on the pen. The innovative design continued to be in use through to the end of the 1940s and further innovations helped the company to prosper. Now owned by Cross, Sheaffer is still a renowned brand offering high end and student calligraphy and stationery pens.
