Card of the week

This is a great way to cut down on the cost of your wedding and impress your guests with individual and stylish invites. Simplicity is the key to keeping those costs down and this design couldn't be simpler.
Wedding invite
Card is usually sold in A4 size so keep the invite size to A5 to get two invites out of each sheet. (Or you could make them very sweet little A6 size to get even more out of the materials and keep your costs down further! We are happy to cut paper for you.) Print your wording on the card using a normal home printer using a font of your choice. The beauty of printing your own is that you can individually tailor each invite for each recipient making them extra special.
Take a sheet of A4 white colourtrace paper and fold it around the A5 card.
Wrap the piece of ribbon around the middle of the invite and secure with a glue dot. I opted to have the join at the front hidden under the embellishment.
Secure the embellishment - in this case an ivory fabric rosebud - with a small glue dot.
50 of these A5 invites cost under £35 and 50 A6 come in under £23 with materials to spare!
