Card of the week

This one was soooo simple - great if you need to get that card off in the post asap!
Looking into my stash of ready-made embellishments, it was just a case of tying a couple of different elements together with co-ordinating papers for a modern, fun and cute card.
New Baby card

Take a coloured card blank. I used a bright blue from the Pollen range of Clairefontaine. These are really good if you want instant colour and a change to the usual white or cream card blanks.
Cut a piece of co-ordinating paper slightly smaller than the card size and stick down with either Spray Mount or double-sided tape. The piece I used was some green Lokta paper that was left over from the card-making kit. Waste not, want not!
Add embellishments of your choice. I have gone with Papermania Pop up Accessories and a lovely range of felt letters from MIC. Each piece is stuck on with an adhesive foam pad to give an interesting 3-D effect.
Simple but I think quite effective.
